The open-plan kitchen and dining area is designed to enhance natural light, with a strategically placed skylight brightening the entire space. White shaker-style cabinetry pairs seamlessly with a sleek marble-inspired backsplash, while warm timber flooring adds a natural, grounding element. A spacious island bench with crisp white barstools offers the perfect spot for casual dining or entertaining.
Brass hardware and a stylish gold-toned kitchen tap add a refined contrast, elevating the space with subtle luxury. The adjoining dining area, featuring a solid wood table and plush seating, completes the harmonious design, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings.

Bathroom & Laundry
This project also included a stunning bathroom and laundry build, both designed with functionality and elegance in mind. The bathroom exudes spa-like tranquility, featuring high-end fixtures, modern tiling, and thoughtful lighting that enhances relaxation. Brass accents continue in this space, tying the design together seamlessly.
The laundry area is both stylish and highly practical, offering generous storage, a sleek benchtop, and smart design solutions that make everyday tasks effortless.

We could incorporate an overall balance to achieve a sense of ease from functionality, form to materiality. The kitchen wall being single-bricked, allowed us to relocate the new private entry door to the east of the kitchen. This allowed us to play with symmetry by mimicking the pantry door height and width in which led us to creating a central focal point for the location of the kitchen island bench with a beautifully curated piece of stone with softened curved edges. As the island is a family orientated multitasking preparation space, we chose to locate the sink, dishwasher and pull-out bin drawer here to support the daily routines of the household.
We proposed to alter the pantry entrance to a full height opening to create a butlers pantry that seamlessly flowed from the island bench for fluid accessibility. This incurred some structural limitations. This was rectified by installing a load bearing beam to achieve this desired outcome.
